Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore- Cambridge Club

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore, has 6 clubs in the state, all set up to ensure every child has access to a great future by providing caring mentors, a safe environment, high-quality programs and unique experiences. The Cambridge Club is the newest location and the first club to debut on the Eastern Shore. We don’t just do one thing, we do whatever it takes to build great futures for Maryland’s young people. Cambridge Empowerment Center

Our mission is to be an ongoing resource for children and adults, to improve their lives and to help them grow and reach their dreams. We work in partnership with the community to provide youth development through education, skills training, mentoring and other support services. Additionally, we strive to inspire confidence, self-esteem, a desire for lifelong learning and to contribute to the health and well-being of the City of Cambridge’s youth and community.

Camp Harriet

Linda Harris and the We Walk With Harriett movement are opening Camp Harriet this July located by the Cambridge High School. They will be offering several activities and programs focused on outdoor engagement and education of local history through the lens of Harriet Tubman.

Chesapeake College Cambridge Center

Chesapeake College is currently operating in Phase Green. Wye Mills and Cambridge Center buildings are currently open to the public during regular Summer Business hours (M-Th from 8:00am – 5:15pm, Closed Fridays).

The Cambridge Center offers the city a place for students to learn, and work with a small commute. Although the Cambridge center doesn’t offer every class Chesapeake offers, the center is a great place right downtown to get some work done!

DCPS Summer Academy

Dorchester County Public Schools are offering several Summer Enrichment programs both online and in-person. The Academy is free up to two classes. Students should contact their guidance counselor/ home school main office about enrollment.

Harvesting Hope Youth and Family Wellness, Inc

Harvesting Hope Youth and Family Wellness, Inc is a non-profit organization focused on youth development in the community as it pertains to educational, physical and mental health. They will be offering a variety of programs through the Free Learning Lab: Summer Enrichment from July 6th to August 20th M-F 8:30-3:30 for Ages 5-12. Registration is June 7th to 11th.

Harvesting Hope Youth and Family Wellness, Inc is a youth and family services program sowing seeds of hope in the community.  We  provide behavioral services, mentoring, and literacy support. We also provide community based training opportunities to local youth and families in partnership with local community agencies. Our Mission is to uplift the community by working in the community. Our youth are our greatest asset. When we invest in them we invest in the future of our communities. Some people are born leaders while others need guidance and the tools to become leaders. Salisbury University Enrichment Academies (SUYA)

The Salisbury University Youth Academy offers a variety of educational programs for students in high school, middle school, and elementary school. Learners of all ages are engaged throughout the summer, expanding their skills in the sciences, arts, leadership, and communication. SU’s Summer Enrichment Academies encourage students and teachers to shine boldly as they learn and grow. Programs include but are not limited to: Youth STEM Academy, Youth 3D Arts Academy, Youth Dance Academy, and various Youth Innovation and Enrichment Courses.
